Simple White Sauce

Ataya ~ "Hi there !! Today I will show the simple White sauce(Bechamel sauce). Easy to make and can be use for other western dish recipes. Let's see"

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below.

  • Milk  (牛乳) 200 gram ~ 10 Baht
  • Butter  (バター) 1-2 table spoons ~ 10 Baht
  • Plain Flour (小麦粉) 1-2 table spoons ~ 5 Baht
  • Seasoning(調味料)[Salt(),Pepper(胡椒)),Black Paper(黒コショウ),Clove(クローブ) ] ~  3 Baht

Total cost = 28 Baht

 

2. First, Melting the butter.

 

3. Then add plain flour and stir them well.

 

4. Next add milk and all seasoning and herbs.


5. Keep stir them until the sauce is thick enough.Just like this

6. Take clove and black pepper out. The simple white sauce was ready to use !! Enjoy

Mango Caramel Sauce

Ataya ~ "Hi there !! Now it's mango season in Thailand. So, I decided to make Mango Caramel Sauce. Good for eating with meat and sweet. Let's see  ..."

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below.
  • Mango  (マンゴー) 1 cup ~ 5 Baht 
  • Sugar (砂糖) about 3-5 table spoons ~ 3 Baht
  • Salt() about 1 tea spoon ~ 1 Baht
  • Drinking Water () about 2 cups ~ 0 Baht
Total cost = 9 Baht


2. First, Making caramel by let sugar burned.

3. When sugar burned then add little bit of water to dissolving caramel.

4. Add more water , cut mango and little bit of salt.



5. Keep boiling them well for about 20-30 minutes.

6. Mix them well !!

7. Keep the sauce in a bottle. Keep in cool place. Enjoy !!

Thai Spicy Seafood Dipping Sauce




 Ataya ~"Today I will show you how to make Thai style seafood dipping sauce. Very simple. Let's see ...  "

1. Gathering all ingredients. As describe below. 

     Chili (唐辛子) 5-6 chilies  ~ 5 Baht
     Garlic (ニンニク) 5-6 gloves ~ 3 Baht
     Lime (ライム) 1 lime ~ 3 Baht
     Sugar(砂糖) 2-3 tea spoons ~ 2 Baht 
     Fish Sauce(ナンプラー) 3-4 table spoons ~ 2 Baht
Total cost = 15 Baht 

2. Smash garlic with mortar and pestle.


3. Add chilies and sugar. Keep pounding until everything broke into pieces.

4. Put the paste into a container.

5. Add lime and fish sauce. Mix it well. That's all !! Enjoy !!

Stir-fried Shiitake Mushrooms with Oyster Sauce

Ataya P ~ "Today , Just watching TV program about Matsutake, the most expensive mushroom in Japan. They said because it can not be reproduce by man or do farming. Just One good shape mushroom can cost 20,000 Yen !! Well, I want to try one but just consider about days after that, I ended up at cooking with Shiitake that is a lot cheaper... Enjoy !! "

1.Gathering all ingredients.As describe below

  •    Shiitake mushroom  (椎茸)  1 pack     ~190 Yen
  •    Meat balls  (ミトボール)   6-7  balls  ~ 50 Yen
  •    Celery (セロリ) 2-3 leafs   ~ 20 Yen
  •    Spring onion(ネギ) 1-2 spring onions ~ 5 Yen
  •    Fried tofu (油揚げ)  1 pair ~ 30 Yen
  •    Garlic paste(ニンニクペースト)  2-3 tea spoons ~ 10 Yen
  •    White sesame (白胡麻) 1/3 tea spoon ~ 5 Yen
  •    Seasoning(調味料)[salt(塩),Pepper(胡椒),Oyster Sauce(オイスターソース)] ~ 20 Yen
Total cost = 330 Yen


2. Warming up fry pan, add olive oil and little bit of salt , bring meat balls in ...


3. Add Shiitake mushrooms then add Oyster sauce...

4. Seasoning with garlic paste, pepper.

5. Add celery and spring onion...


6. Bring it on plate and spread white sesame around ... Yummy !!

Eggplant Stir-Fried with Oyster Sauce

Ataya ~ "Hello there !! After finished all of tomatoes, I got to deal with huge eggplants. Please enjoy the show .... "


1.Gathering all ingredients.As describe below

  •    Eggplant  (茄子)  1 eggplant      ~100 Yen
  •    Garlic (大蒜)  1 -2 gloves ~ 20 Yen
  •    Minced Pork (豚肉) about 300 gram   ~ 100 Yen
  •    Seasoning(調味料)[salt(塩),fish sauce(ナンプラー),Oyster Sauce(オイスターソース),Parsley(パセリ),Pepper(胡椒),Salt(塩),] ~ 60 Yen
Total cost = 280 Yen


2. Warming up fry pan. Add cooking oil and spread little bit of salt. then fry minced garlic.


3. Add minced pork and cooking it well.


4.Add eggplant and 3-4 table spoons of oyster sauce, 2-3 tea spoons of fish sauce and little bit of pepper.


5.Keep cooking them until eggplant getting soft. Put all in a fine plate. Always taste good with a cup of  rice ... Hmmm...

Tonkatsu souce + Meat Ball

Ataya ~ "Recently, I have no Idea what to cook. So, I just cook anything that left in refrigerator. OK, I god meatball..."

1.Gathering all ingredients.As describe below

  •     Meatball(肉団子) 6-7 balls        ~ 50 Yen
  •  Carrot (にんじん) 1 cut        ~ 10 Yen
  •     Onion(玉ねぎ) 1 cut ~10 Yen
  •     Seasoning(調味料)[Tonkatsu souce(とんかつソース),pepper(胡椒),black pepper(ブラックペッパー),Parley(パセリ),salt(塩)] ~ 40 Yen 

  
    Total cost = ~ 110 Yen



2.First,Warming frying pan.Add little bit of oil and salt then fry sliced onion.


3.Add meatballs into it.Add Black pepper,pepper and cook it well.


4.After meatballs's color turned to be little bit brown,little bit burn is alway good smell.Then,Add pieces of carrot and Tonkatsu souce.


5.At this point,Put 1/2 cup of water into frying pan and boiling it.


6.Wait for a while,Then Tonkatsu souce meat balls are ready to be serve...
