[Thai food] Thai style tom yum dry noodle (Ba Mee Hang Tom Yum)

Ataya ~ "How are you ? I don't update this blog for a while because I had to do something else. Now I'm back and today I will show you how to make Thai style tom yum dry noodle (Ba Mee Hang Tom Yum)"

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below
  •    Thai noodle (タイ麺)  1/5 pack     ~20 Yen
  •    Minced pork (豚肉)  100-150 gram ~ 50 Yen
  •    Bean sprouts (もやし) 30 gram  ~ 10 Yen
  •    Garlic (ニンニク) 1 big clove ~ 10 Yen
  •   Spring Onion (分葱) 10 gram ~ 5 Yen
  •   Chinese Cabbage(白菜) 10 gram ~ 10 Yen
  •   Peanut(ピーナツ) 1 tea spoon ~ 5 Yen
  •   Seasoning(調味料)[salt(塩), chicken soup(がらスープ), pepper(コショウ), fish sauce(ナムプラー),Soy sauce(タイ豆ソース),lemon water(レモン),Tomyamgoong paste(トムヤムグンペース) ~ 40 Yen 
 Total cost = 150 Yen




2.First, Boiling water and add chicken soup powder, salt and then boil the noodle until it turns soft. (~about 5 minutes) then shake off water and keep the noodle in some container.


3. Boiling all veggies for 1-2 minutes. shake off the water and place somewhere else.







4.Using the same soup to boil Minced pork. Add little of salt and pepper into the pork before boiling it.


5. Fry the garlic for topping the dry noodle.





6. Add boiled noodle, veggies, and minced pork into a bowl. Add all seasoning, Tomyumgoong paste, lemon water, fish sauce,soy sauce and mix it well.

7.Spread fried garlic, spring onion, crushed peanut and done. Aroi Maggg !!

Thai Festival in Shibuya 2012

Ataya ~ " Hi all, Today is not for new recipe. I just went to Shibuya (in Tokyo) for Thai festival. There has a lot of Thai food booths. I enjoyed my lunch there .. Yummy Yummy..."

Fake Shark Fin Soup

Ataya ~ "Hi there, To eat shark fin soup is something I never do before in my life. Why ? It's not because I am animal right activist. But It was because I'm poor (the same reason I still single I personally believe) Whatever, today I'm going to show you how to make a Fake shark fin soup  ....Please enjoy the show "

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below

  •    Thin noodles made from bean starch (春雨)  1/2 pack     ~50 Yen
  •    Tapioca flour (片栗粉 ) 2 cups ~ 20 Yen
  •    Bean sprouts (もやし) 30 gram  ~ 10 Yen
  •    Garlic (ニンニク) 1 big clove ~ 10 Yen
  •   Onion (玉葱) 20 gram ~ 10 Yen
  •   Chinese wolfberry fruit(くこの実) 10 gram ~ 5 Yen
  •   Seasoning(調味料)[salt(塩), chicken soup(がらスープ), pepper(コショウ), fish sauce(ナムプラー),Oyster sauce(オイスターソース), pepper(胡椒) ~ 30 Yen 
 Total cost = 135 Yen


2. Put thin noodles into a bowl that filled with water. Wait for about 20 minutes or till it going to be soften.


3. Sweat all water off and spread Tapioca flour all over the thin noodles.


4. Add oil in fry pan, heating it up and let grill a fake shark fin.


5. Flip it for grilling both side.


6. Next, making soup by frying minced garlic and onion.


7. Add 2 cups of water.


8. When it heated, Add all herbs,chicken soup and seasoning ....


9. Put a Fake shark fin on top.


10. Keep boiling ...


11. When a shark fin looks softer. Then it was done ... Yummy !!

My French Toast

Ataya ~ "Hi all, My stomach needs something to fill up. Just take a look. I got some bread and egg. Well, Let's make some French toast .... "

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below

  •    Bread  (パン)  2 slices     ~20 Yen
  •    Egg (玉子) 1 egg ~ 20 Yen
  •    Whipped cream (生クリーム) 2-3 tea spoons  ~ 10 Yen
  •    Sugar(砂糖) 3-4 tea spoons ~ 10 Yen
  •   Cinnamon sugar(シナモンシュガー) 2 tea spoons ~ 10 Yen
  •   Butter(バター) 1/2 tea spoon ~ 5 Yen
  •   Fruit jam (ジャム) 1 tea spoon ~ 10 Yen
Total cost = 85 Yen



2. Add egg, whipped cream, sugar, cinnamon sugar into a bowl.


3. Mixing them well ...


4. Then add cut breads into the mixed.


5. Heating up fry pan and melt the butter.


6. Turn the heat to normal then fry the breads ..


7. Flip to fry both sides...


8. Serve with topping jam .... Yummy !!
