Eggplant #PASTA



 Ataya ~"Hi there! Today I will show you how to make Eggplant Pasta. Hope you enjoy the dish "

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below.

  • Eggplant (ナス) 1 eggplant  ~ 10 Baht
  • Pasta (パスタ) 100 gram ~ 20 Baht
  • Onion(タマネギ) 10 gram ~ 5 Baht
  • Garlic(ニンニク)  2 cloves ~ 2 Baht
  • Asparagus(アスパラガス) 2-3 asparagus ~ 10 Baht
  • Ham(ハム) 2-3 pieces ~ 5 Baht
  • Seasoning(調味料)[cheese powder(チーズパウダー),salt(),pepper(胡椒),Lemon juice(レモン汁),fish sauce(ナンプラー),Olive oil(オリーブオイル) ] ~ 15 baht 
Total cost = 67 Baht


2.Boiling Pasta

3.Chop everything !!

4. Fry garlic and onion in olive oil then add ham and little bit of salt.

5. Next add asparagus.

6. Add eggplant and all seasonings. keep stir well.

7. Stop the heat and add boiled pasta. Mix it well.


8. That is. Enjoy your Eggplant Pasta !!

Homemade Peanut Butter

Ataya ~ "Hi there. Today I will show you how to make simple peanut butter. Let's see..."

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below.

  • Peanut (ピーナッツ) 400 gram  ~ 30 Baht
  • Vegetable oil (植物油) 1/2 Cup ~ 10 Baht
  • Sugar (砂糖) 1 table spoon ~ 3 Baht
Total cost = 43 Baht


2. First, crush the peanuts.


3. Add vegetable oil and sugar then mix it well.






4. When everything turned to creamy butter then it was done. Enjoy your homemade peanut butter !!

Tamagoyaki : japanese rolled #omelette

Ataya ~ "Hi there. Today I will show you how to make Tamagoyaki (grilled egg) a very common dish in Japan. Hope you enjoy the menu."

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below.

  • Egg (玉子) 2 egg  ~ 5 Baht
  • Small pieces of bonito (鰹節) 1 pack ~ 20 baht
  • Seasoning(調味料)[rice wine(みりん), Sugar(砂糖),Soy sauce(醤油) ] ~ 10 baht 
Total cost = 35 Baht


2. First , Making Dashi(soup) by boiling water with pieces of bonito.




3. Put bonito out and keep the clean soup.




4. Add seasoning = Soup 4 table spoon. Sugar 1 tea spoon. Rice wine 1 table spoon. Soy sauce 1 table spoon.  Mix it well.


 5. Pour the soup into mixed eggs. Stir well.

6. Warming up fry pan and paint cooking oil over it.

7. Make first egg layer.


8. When it dried, roll the egg.





9. Paint cooking oil and add more egg layer.





10. Roll the egg and repeat the process until you get a big roll egg.



11. Put the rolled omelette on dish and cut it into smaller pieces. Then you got Tamagoyaki ready to be serve.

Homemade Tamarind Seed #Coffee

Ataya~"Hi there, sweet tamarind is now on sell at the market. I remembered that we can make (fake) coffee from it's seed. Tamarind's seed once was used to add with real coffee beans to cut down the cost. Anyway, it turns out that it has many health benefits (may be more than the real coffee bean). They said it's good for your liver and kidneys. Let's do it ...     "

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below.


  • Sweet tamarind seeds (タマリンドの種) 1/2 Kg  0 Baht
Total cost = 0 Baht


2. First, separate tamarind seed from it's pulp.

3. Roast the seeds with fry pan, the seed coat will getting crispy and easy to break.

4. Just remove the black seed coat and keep the white core.




5. Warming up fry pan and roast the coat removed seeds with low heat.



6. Keep rolling until all the seeds just turn dark brown.


7. Hulk Smash !!




8. Keep crushing them until all seeds break into powder (You can use blender at this point)





9. Let's brew a cup of fresh coffee.


10. Add sugar or cream as you want. Enjoy !!

#Starfruit Compote

Ataya~"Hi there, this is harvesting time for starfruit. I got a lot of them this year. So, I will turn it into starfruit compote. Let's see.    "

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below.

  • Starfruit (スターフルーツ) 1 Kg  ~30 Baht 
  • Sugar (砂糖) 1 cup 20 Baht
  • Salt(塩) 1/2 teaspoons 1 Baht
Total cost = ~ 51 Baht


2. Make stars ...

3. Add all stars into a pan then spread sugar and salt above them.


4. Turn on the heat. Keep the heat until sugar was melted then turn the heat to low level.





5. Wait until water was almost evaporated then put them in the plate. 



6. Next step, take a sunbath for about 1-2 days. When it dried then it was done. Enjoy !!

Preserved Sweet Pineapple

Ataya~"Hi there, I've got a lot of leftover pineapple. So, I decided to make a simple preserved sweet pineapple. Let see...    "

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below.


  • Pineapple (パイナップル) 1/2 Kg  ~15 Baht 
  • Sugar (砂糖) 1 cup 20 Baht
  • Salt(塩) 2-3 teaspoons 2 Baht
Total cost = ~ 37 Baht


2. Blend pineapple by using blender. Do not make a smoothy juice, Just crush and left some textures.


3. Warming up pan, put crushed pineapple and keep stir it well.

4. Then add sugar and salt. Turn fire to medium level and keep stir it.




 5. After about 20 minutes, the water almost evaporated and pineapple is getting thicker then it was done.

  7. Keep it in container. You can easily eat it as candy or sweet later. Yummy !!
