[Thai food] Khao Khluk Kapi and Moo Wan (Kapi fried rice and sweet pork)

Ataya ~ "Dear all. Today I will show you how to make Khao Khluk Kapi and Moo Wan. These are basic Thai food that you can find anywhere in Thailand but of cause hard to find in Japan. My menu was little bit difference from original 'cause lack of resources but the taste always the same. Don't worry. Now please enjoy the show..."

1.Gathering all ingredients.As describe below

  •     Instant fried rice(インスタント チャーハン) 1 pack ~ 200 Yen
  •     Kapi (カピ) ~ 10 Yen
  •     Onion (玉ねぎ) 1/10 onion         ~10 Yen
  •     Garlic(ニンニク) 2 clove      ~10 Yen
  •     Pork  (豚ロース)   100 gram         ~ 178 Yen
  •     Tomato (トマト) 2ー3 tomatoes      ~ 20 Yen
  •     Red Onion (赤い玉ねぎ) 1/10 ball    ~ 10 Yen
  •     Carrot (人参) 10 gram  ~ 10 Yen
  •     Scallion(ながねぎ) 1 stick  ~ 10 Yen
  •     Apple(りんご) 1/10 ball ~ 20 Yen

    Seasoning(調味料)[soy sauce(醤油),chili(唐辛子),pepper(コショウ),sugar(砂糖),salt(塩)] ~ 30 Yen
  
    Total cost = ~ 498 Yen



2.First of all, Making of sweet pork by cutting pork and red onion into little pieces.


3.Put pork into hot water and boiling it.


4.Add soy sauce, pepper and 1/2 cup of sugar.


5.Add red onion and boiling it until done.



6.Keep it to eat with the fried rice.


7.Now turn to cut all vegetables and apple into little pieces.


8.Then we going to make Kapi fried rice. If you wonder this is Kapi. It made from a super tiny shrimp. In Thai food this is a major seasoning. It taste salty and has a unique smell. (Old people told me that monkey hate it's smell but I not sure this is true or not but if you hate this one... you might be nearly monkey..Ha ha ha)


9.OK. History lesson over. Cooking time. Warming a pan add cooking oil and fry some garlic.


10.Then add 2-3 spoon of Kapi (Not too much because it so salty and too much smell nice) frying them until little bit burned.


11.Add instant fried rice.


12.Mix it well.


13.Cooking it until Kapi was covered all and turn fried rice to be black colored.


14.Put everything in the plate. Kapi fried rice was always eating with vegetables and sweet pork. Aroi !!!
