[Thai Dessert] Intanil : Green Jelly In Sweet Coconut Milk

Ataya ~ "Hi there !! Today I will show you how to make an easy  Thai classic dessert, ขนมอินทนิล Intanil. Good for hot summer time !!  Let's see ... "

1. Gathering all ingredients. As describe below.

  • Tapioca Starch (タピオカでんぷん) 1 cup ~5 Baht
  • Pandan Leaf  (パンダンリーフ) 1 leaf ~ 2 Baht
  • Palm Sugar (パームシュガー) 2-3 tablespoons ~ 10 Baht
  • Coconut Milk (ココナツミルク) 1/2 Cup ~ 5 Baht
  • Seasoning(調味料)[Salt(),Sugar(砂糖)] ~  2 Baht

Total cost = 24 Baht

 

 

2. First making syrup by boiling water with palm sugar, sugar and little bit of salt.

3. While waiting syrup to be cool down, blending pandan leaf with water.

4. Now you got the green potion !!

 

5. Prepare Tapioca starch and sugar.

 

6. Pour green potion into them and mixing it well.

7. Boiling the potion with low heat on fry pan.

8. Keep stir them until it became solid.

 

9. Add coconut milk into the syrup.

10. When everything cooled down, using your fingers touching with water and making green jelly pieces into white coconut milk syrup.

 

11. Add Ice cube and enjoy your Thai Intanil dessert !! Aroi !!

Coconut Milk Pudding

 Ataya ~ "Hi there !! Today I will show you how to make an easy recipe, Coconut Milk Pudding !! Let's see ..."

1. Gathering all ingredients. As describe below.

  • Egg   ( ) 2 eggs ~ 6 Baht
  • Coconut Milk (ココナツミルク) about 200 gram ~ 10 Baht
  • Seasoning(調味料)[Salt(), Cinamol(シナモール),Sugar  (砂糖),Palm Sugar(パームシュガー)] ~  10 Baht

Total cost = 26 Baht

 

2. Mix eggs with sugar,palm sugar,salt and cinamol.

 

3. Then add coconut milk in.

 

4. Mixing it well.

5. Pour the liquid into cups. Using air-fryer to bake them (about 160 Celsius for 10-15 minutes)
 

6. That is !! Enjoy your coconut milk pudding !!

[Thai Sweet] Kanom Hin Fon Thong

 Ataya ~ "Hi there !! Today I will show you how to make the classic Thai sweet, Kanom Hin Fon Thong (ขนมหินฝนทอง). It was usually made for the soldier who was going to the war by his lover. Let's see ..."

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below.

  • Rice Flour (米粉 ) about 1 cup ~ 5 Baht
  • Roast Rice Powder(ローストライス) ~ 3 Baht  
  • Coconut Milk (ココナツミルク ) about 1 cup ~ 20 Baht
  • Salt () about 1/2 teaspoon ~ 1 Baht
  • Palm Sugar(パームシュガー) about 2-3 tablespoons ~ 3 Baht
  • Thai Fragrant Candle  (タイ香ばしいキャンドル ) ~ 1 Baht

Total cost = 33 Baht

 

2. First roast rice flour until it was lighter.


3. Then add roasted rice powder for a while. Keep it in container.

4. Next, Boiling coconut milk, palm sugar and little bit of salt.

 

5. Keep stir them until it was like condensed milk

 

6. Wait until it was cool down.


7. Mixing them together. Molding them like a little rocks.

8. Smoke them with Thai Fragrant Candle for at least 1 hour.

9. Then it was done !!

10. Aroi !!

One Night Banana In Coconut Milk

 Ataya ~ "Hi there !! Today I will show you the easiest dessert recipe from Thailand, It's a One Night Banana in Coconut Milk. Because we do not use any heat. So, the coconut milk is not separate it's coconut oil and it will still healthy to drink. Let's see ... "

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below.

  • Banana (バナナ) 1 banana ~ 5 Baht 
  • Coconut Milk (ココナツミルク) 1 cup ~ 10 Baht
  • Pandan leaf (パンダンの葉) 1 leaf ~ 1 Baht
  • Seasoning(調味料)[Sugar(砂糖), Salt()] ~ 2 Baht 

Total cost = 18 Baht

2. Add sugar, salt and water into container. Mix them well.

3. Pour coconut milk into container. Cut  pandan leaf and bring it in the liquid.

 

4. Cut ripe banana and put it into coconut milk.

 

5. Put a container in refrigerator for one night. Tomorrow you will get Sweet Banana in Coconut Milk dessert !! Enjoy !!

Coconut Milk Crispy Fried Chicken

Ataya ~"Hi everyone, Today I would like to introducing you a yummy Coconut Milk Crispy Fried Chicken. Very easy recipe. Let's see ...."

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below.

  • Chicken breast (鶏の胸肉) 1 pack ~ 40 Baht 
  • Rice Flour (米粉) 1/2 cup ~ 5 Baht
  • Tempura Flour (天ぷら粉) 1/2 cup ~ 5 Baht
  • Coconut Milk (ココナツミルク) about 2/3 cup ~ 10 Baht
  • White & Black Sesame (白と黒ごま) about 1 tea spoon ~ 2 Baht
  • Seasoning(調味料)[salt(塩),pepper(胡椒)] ~ 3 Baht
Total cost = 65 Baht


2. First, mix rice flour, tempura flour, salt, pepper and white & black flour together. Add Coconut milk and mix it well.

3. Put boiled chicken breast in.


4. Deep fry them ...

5. When it turned to dark brown colour then it was done.




6. That is !! Enjoy the Coconut milk crispy fried chicken !!

[Thai dessert] Coffee & Coconut milk Jelly



Ataya ~"Hi there. Today I will show you how to make Coffee & Coconut milk Jelly (Thai style) It is very easy and yummy. Please enjoy the show. "


1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below
  •    Instant Coffee (インスタントコーヒー)  2-3 tea spoons     ~10 Yen
  •    Coconut Milk (ココナッツミルク) 1 cup ~ 30 Yen
  •    Sugar (砂糖) 9-10 tea spoons  ~ 20 Yen
  •    Salt (塩) 2-3 tea spoons ~ 10 Yen
  •    Gelatine(ゼラチン) 2 pack ~ 20 Yen 
  •   Water(水)1cup ~0 Yen
Total cost = 90 Yen


2.Boil a cup of water until the bubbles come up.

3.Add Coffee, Sugar and Gelatine in order. Mixing it well.

4. Pour the liquid in the container. Keep it in refrigerator until it became solid state.

5. Heat up fry pan . Add coconut milk.Turn the heat to medium and keep stir for a while. Then add sugar,salt and gelatin. Mixing it well.
 *** Not too hot or the coconut milk's oil will appear and that is not good for Thai dessert. 

6. Pour the white liquid over the coffee jelly. Keep it cool.When It all turn to Jelly then it was ready to be serve ...

[Thai sweet] Bua Loy : Rice Flour Balls in sweet Coconut milk

Ataya P ~"Hi all, I already decided to make Bua loy at MIRA international food fair this year (If only I can stay here longer for that time, I hope). So, Today I will introduce you how to make it ... Please enjoy"

1.Gathering all ingredients.As describe below

  •    Sticky rice flour  (米粉)  2 cups     ~100 Yen
  •    crushed black sesame  (すりごま)  1  can ~ 100 Yen
  •    Coconut milk (ココナッツミルク) about 200 gram   ~ 100 Yen
  •    Pumpkin (パンプキン) about 100 gram ~ 50 Yen
  •    Seasoning(調味料)[salt(塩),Sugar(砂糖)] ~ 30 Yen
Total cost = 380 Yen


2. Boiling Coconut milk. Add sugar, little bit of salt. Then keep it in cooler.

3. Wave pumpkin in microwave for 2 minutes.

4. Crush pumpkin ...

5. Mix crushed pumpkin with sticky rice flour. Add water if it too dry...

6. When It became one, it's ready for use.

7. Mix crushed black sesame with sticky flour. Add water to make it stick together.

8. Then we have 2 colour of sticky rice dough ...

9. Make it into little ball shape. Cover them with the left sticky flour...

10. Prepare for boiling ...


11. Boiling it and when it floating over the hot water that means it was done.


12. Cool it down with cold water.


13. Add boiled sweet coconut milk and Bua loy was ready for serve ... Aroi !!
