[Thai food] Khao Tom Moo (Thai's Pork Gruel)

Ataya ~"Hi All, Hope you enjoy my menus. Sorry for my bad english. You know, When living in Japan and just talking in Japanese. I think their Kanji damaged my brain more than when I did Muay Thai trainning :(
Anyway, Today I will introducing you how to make Khao Tom Moo(Khow= rice, Tom=boil, Moo=pig or pork) that is basic breakfast in Thai. Taste good and easy. Hope you enjoy it..."

1.Gathering all ingredients.As describe below

  •    Gruel(白いがゆ) 1 pack ~ 190 Yen
  •    Minced pork (豚ひき肉) 1 pack ~112 Yen
  •    Garlic(大蒜) 2 cloves ~ 20 Yen
  •    Egg (卵) 1 egg ~ 30 Yen
  •    Fried Tofu (豆腐?) 1 piece ~ 10 Yen
  •    Celery(セロリ) 3,4 leaf ~ 10 Yen
  •    Seasoning(調味料)[pepper(コショウ),salt(塩),Fish Sauce(ナムプラ),Soy Sauce(醤油)] ~ 30 Yen  

   total = ~402 Yen


2. Cut garlic into little pieces. Fry it in hot cooking old until it color turn to be brown.


3. Keep crispy fried garlic for topping on gruel later.


4. Fry minced pork. Add soy source,pepper,fish sauce into it.


5. Add fried Tofu and cook it well.


6. Add gruel and a 1/2 cup of water.


7. Keep boiling it until over heat.


8. Add an egg into hot gruel.


9. Use spoon to blend around yolk. This make egg white not going to be lump.


10.Put all in a bowl.Spread pepper,decorate with celery and fried garlic. That is. Enjoy...

[Italian food] Seafood Pasta

 1.Gathering all ingredients.As describe below
  •     Olive Oil(オリーブ油) 1/4 cup ~ 10 Yen
  •     Pasta(パスタ) 1/3 of package ~ 30 Yen
  •     Onion (玉ねぎ) 1/10 onion         ~10 Yen
  •     Garlic (大蒜)   1 clove              ~ 10 Yen
  •     Seafood Mixed(シーフードミックス) 1 pack      ~ 150 Yen
  •     Seasoning(調味料)[pepper(コショウ),black pepper(ブラックペッパー),Parley(パスレー),salt(塩),Fish Sauce(ナムプラ)] ~ 40 Yen 

    Total cost = ~ 250 Yen



2.Boiling water.When it became hot,Add little bit of salt and olive oil to prevent pasta stick with a pan's bottom.


3.Boiling pasta until it became soft as you see.(about 20 minutes plus)


4.Bring just pasta into cold water.This will keep pasta not too soft when eating. Keep little bit of water that used to boil pasta.


4.After that,Back to cook pasta.Add olive oil,salt and warm it until hot.Put well cut onion and seafood mix into a pan. Cook it well.


5.Add all seasoning.Adjust the taste as your favourite.


6.Turn of the heat.Add pasta and boiled pasta water.


7.Put all in nice plate and that all.

Tonkatsu souce + Meat Ball

Ataya ~ "Recently, I have no Idea what to cook. So, I just cook anything that left in refrigerator. OK, I god meatball..."

1.Gathering all ingredients.As describe below

  •     Meatball(肉団子) 6-7 balls        ~ 50 Yen
  •  Carrot (にんじん) 1 cut        ~ 10 Yen
  •     Onion(玉ねぎ) 1 cut ~10 Yen
  •     Seasoning(調味料)[Tonkatsu souce(とんかつソース),pepper(胡椒),black pepper(ブラックペッパー),Parley(パセリ),salt(塩)] ~ 40 Yen 

  
    Total cost = ~ 110 Yen



2.First,Warming frying pan.Add little bit of oil and salt then fry sliced onion.


3.Add meatballs into it.Add Black pepper,pepper and cook it well.


4.After meatballs's color turned to be little bit brown,little bit burn is alway good smell.Then,Add pieces of carrot and Tonkatsu souce.


5.At this point,Put 1/2 cup of water into frying pan and boiling it.


6.Wait for a while,Then Tonkatsu souce meat balls are ready to be serve...

[Japanese food] Okinawa's Carrot shiri shiri : 沖縄のにんじんシリシリ

Ataya ~ "Hi all, Today I will show you how to make Ninjin shirishiri, that is a simple and popular menu from Okinawa. I don't know why but Japanese around here just told me that I look like Okinawa man. Of cause, I am Thai and don't know anything about Okinawa.I just watched TV and learn to do this menu.That is..."

1.Gathering all ingredients.As describe below

  •    Tuna can (ツーナー缶詰) 1 can     ~190 Yen
  •    Carrot (にんじん) 1/2 carrot        ~ 40 Yen
  •    Egg(卵)  1  egg     ~40 Yen
  •  White Sesame(いりごま「白」)  ~10 Yen
  •   Seasoning(調味料)[pepper(胡椒),soy souce(醤油),salt(塩)] ~ 30 Yen 

    Total cost = ~ 310 Yen



2.First of all, Cut carrot into little pieces as you can see.Not to small and not to big (In Okinawa,There has somekind of tool that use for doing this job.)



3.Warm up your frying pan add little bit of oil and some soup(or oil) from the tuna can into it.


4.Using medium heat and fry pieces of carrot.


5.Not too long,Add meat of tuna into a pan.Add soy souce,pepper,salt and cook it well.


6.Spread white sesame and put an egg.Break an egg and mixing it all around. Keep do it until egg was dry.


7.That is ! Simple and plenty of vitamin A dish was ready to serve...

[Thai food] Gai Gratium Pricktai : Garlic Pepper Fried Chicken

1.Gathering all ingredients.As describe below
    Garlic (大蒜)   2-3 clove              ~ 30 Yen
Chicken meat (鶏の胸) ~300gram         ~206 Yen
  Seasoning(調味料)[black pepper(ブラックペッパー),fish sauce(ナンプラ),peper(胡椒)] ~ 40 Yen
  
    Total cost = ~ 276 Yen



2.First,Slice galic to be little pieces (but not to small because it will over burn while frying in the pan)


3.Add chiken meat,pepper,black pepper,2 tea spoons of fish sauce and well cut galic in to the bowl.Mixing it well...


3. Keep the chicken meat in freezer about 20 minutes to make sure that the seasoning has been absorb into chicken meat.


4. After that, Warm your frying pan with maximum heat.Add oil and put chicken into it.



5.At this time just low down the heat to medium and keep fry until it was well done.
 


5.Serve with Kimchi and fried egg on the hot rice. Wow..It's Yummy !!

Yum Chikuwa : Mixed Spice Fish Paste Cake Salad

 1.Gathering all ingredients.As describe below

  •     Japanese fish paste cake (ちくわ) 1/2 pack 〜 100 Yen  
  •  Onion (玉ねぎ) 1/10 onion         ~10 Yen
  •     Garlic (大蒜)   1 clove              ~ 10 Yen
  •     Mini Tomato(ミニトマト) 4 tomatoes        ~ 40 Yen
  •     Peanut(ピーナッツ) 10 nuts          ~ 10 Yen
  •     Pepermint(ミント) 10 leaf    ~ 50 Yen
  •     Scallion(ネギ) 3 scallion ~ 10 Yen
  •  Seasoning(調味料)[chilli(とうがらし),black pepper(ブラックペッパー),fish sauce(ナンプラ)sugar(砂糖),lemon(レモン),sesame(ごま)] ~ 40 Yen 

    Total cost = ~ 270 Yen




2.First,Making sauce by crunch fresh pieces of garlic,chilli,sugar

3.Add lemon water

4.Add fish sauce and little bit of water.

5.Fry fish paste cake in the fry pan. spread black pepper and little bit of sesame

6.Put well fried fish paste cake into the bowl.


7.Add pepermints,minitomatoes,well sliced onions.

8.Add peanuts and scallion.


9.Finally,Add ready sauce into the bowl and mix all well.


10.Aroi !!!

Potato Gratin

 1.Gathering all ingredients.As describe below

  •     Corn cream (コーンクリム)1 cup   ~ 20 Yen
  •     Corn(コーン)2 spoons    ~10 Yen
  •     Milk (ミルク)1/4 cup  ~ 10 Yen
  •     Mix Cheese (ミックスシーズ) ~ 130 Yen
  •     French fried potatoes (フレンチフライ「冷凍」) 10 pieces  ~  100 Yen
  •     Onion (玉ねぎ) 1/10 onion         ~10 Yen
  •     Garlic (大蒜)   1 clove              ~ 10 Yen
  •     Mini Tomato(ミニトマト) 4 tomatoes        ~ 40 Yen
  •     Pork (豚肉)3-4 pieces  ~ 30 Yen
  •     Seasoning(調味料)[black pepper(ブラックペッパー),Rosemary(ローズマリー),Parley(パスレー),salt(塩),] ~ 30 Yen

    Total cost = ~ 390 Yen



2.Warming up corn cream. Add milk and wait until it hot.Just keep in the other container.


3.scrub a piece of galic all around a pan.


4.Fry pieces of garlic with french fried potatoes


5.Add onion and fry it well.


6.Place pair of porks as you can see.


7.Spread corns,tomatoes,all of seasoning



8.Cover with mix cheese.



9.Add corn cream and heat it until it going to dry.


10.Finally,Potato gratin is ready to serve.Buono !!
