Ataya ~ "Hello there !! Today I will show you the easy Thai snack making from sticky rice, ข้าวจี่ (Khao Gee). Mostly has been eating in northern and northeastern regions. Let's see ... "
1. Gathering all ingredients. As describe below.
- Cooked Thai Sticky Rice (タイの餅米) 1/2 Kg cup ~ 10 Baht
- Eggs (たまご) ~ 2 eggs ~ 8 Baht
- Seasoning(調味料)[Salt(塩),Pepper(胡椒),Soy Sauce(醤油)] ~ 2 Baht
Total cost = 20 Baht
2. First warming up sticky rice with steamer pot.
3. Then spread salt over the hot sticky rice.
4. Wait until it was little bit cool down. Then make a small sticky rice cakes.
5. Fry them on fry pan using low to medium heat.
6. Breaking eggs into the bowl. Seasoning with soy sauce and pepper. Mixing it well.
7. Flip side the sticky rice cake and wait until it turned crispy and brown.
8. Dip sticky rice cake in to the eggs.
9. Grilling them in fry pan again. Flip to grill both sides.
10. Here we are. ข้าวจี่ Khao Gee !! Best to eat while it's still hot.
