[Japanese Sweet] Castella Cake

 Ataya ~ "Hi there !! Today I will show you how to make a Japanese Castella Cake カステラ. Very simple recipe. Let's see ... "

1. Gathering all ingredients. As describe below.

• Wheat Flour (小麦粉) 1/2 cup ~5 Baht
• Egg(タマゴ) 2 eggs ~ 10 Baht 
• Honey(蜂蜜) 1-2 teaspoon ~ 5 Baht
• Mirin (味醂) 1-2 teaspoon ~ 5 Baht
  
• Rice Bran Oil (米ぬか油) 2-3 table spoons ~ 3 Baht
• Seasoning(調味料）[Salt(塩),Sugar(砂糖)] ~  5 Baht

Total cost = 33 Baht

 

 

2. First separating egg yolk and egg white. 

  

3. At egg yolk bowl. Add flour, salt, water and honey. Stir them well.

 

4. At egg white bowl. Add sugar and mirin. Whisking them together. 

 5. When soft peak formed then it was enough.

6. Pour egg yolk into the egg white and mixing them together.

 7. Pour batter into cake pans that has cooking oil painted inside.

 

8.  Bake in air fryer at 150 Celsius for about 10-15 minutes.

 

9. Here we are !! Japanese Castella Cake !! Enjoy

Sweet Soybean Moon Cake

Ataya ~ "Hi there !!  Today I will show you an easy recipe of Sweet Soybean Moon Cake. Let's see ..."

1. Gathering all ingredients. As describe below.

• Wheat Flour (小麦粉) 1 cup ~10 Baht
• Rice Bran Oil (米ぬか油) 2-3 table spoons ~ 3 Baht
  
• Sweet Soybean Paste (大豆ペースト)  about 500 gram ~ 10 Baht
• Seasoning(調味料）[Salt(塩),Sugar(砂糖)] ~  5 Baht

Total cost = 28 Baht

 

2. First mixing wheat flour with salt and sugar.

3. Add water and rice bran oil, massage it well.

 

4. Make sweet soybean paste ball and covering it with the dough.

 

5. Then you got the moon cake balls.

 

6. Put the ball into a mold and pressing them to make the moon cake shape.

 

7. Put them into air fryer, paint their face with syrup and bake them at about 220 Celsius for about 10-15 minutes.

 

8. Finally you got the sweet soybean moon cake just for your moon festival.

 

Homemade Choco Lava Microwave Cake

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below.

• Wheat flour (小麦粉) about 1 cup ~ 5 Baht
• Cocoa Powder (ココアパウダー) about 2-3 tablespoons ~ 10 Baht
• Sugar (砂糖) 2/3 cup ~ 5 Baht
• Egg (玉子) 1 egg ~ 3 Baht 
• Milk(ミルク) about 1 cup ~ 10 Baht
• Rice Bran Oil (米ぬか油) about 2-3 tablespoons ~ 10 Baht
• Chocolate Bar (チョコバー) about 2-3 pieces ~ 5 baht
• Seasoning(調味料）[salt(塩),Baking Powder(ベーキングパウダー)] ~  2 Baht

Total cost = 50 Baht

2. Add all dried ingredients; Wheat flour, Cocoa powder, Baking powder, sugar and salt.

3. Pour all liquid ingredients into the bowl; Egg, Milk, Rice bran oil

4.  Mix it well !!

5.  Pour it into a cup.

6. put Chocolate bar in the middle of the cup.

7. Put the cup inside microwave and wave it with 800 watts for about 1 minute.

8. Place the cup outside and wait until it was cool down.

9. Then you got the homemade Choco Lava Microwave Cake !! Enjoy !!

Apple Pancake

Due to Apples are so cheap in this winter. I got a lot of them from my friend as a free gift.

So, Today I will show you how to making Apple pancake.

1.As normal pancake,mix pancake flour with salt , egg and milk.

2. Place sliced apples in to ceramic plate. Spread salt,sugar and cinnamon all around.

3.Put the plate into microwave and wave it about 1 minute or until sugar and cinnamon is melted.

4. Cook your pancake as usual.

5. I prefer to add black and white sesame, It's good for your health.

6. Finally, arrange apples pieces on the top of pancake. Add more syrup if you need.  Enjoy !!
