[Chinese Food] Chinese Mushroom Soup

 Ataya ~ "Hi there !! Today I will show you how to make the Chinese Mushroom soup. They said that it's good for your lungs. Let's see ... " 

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below

  •    Dried Snow Fungus (乾燥シロキクラゲ)  20~30 gram ~ 20 Baht
  •    Dried Black wood ear mushroom (乾燥黒キクラゲ) 10~20 gram ~ 10 Baht
  •    Dried Chinese Jujube(乾燥中国ナツメ) 100 gram ~ 20 Baht
  •    Dried Goji berries (乾燥クコの実) 1 teaspoon ~ 10 Baht 
  •    Dried Date Palm (乾燥ナツメヤシ) 4-5 Date ~ 20 Baht
  •    Pear ()  about 1/2 pear ~ 20 Baht  
  •    Ginger Powder (生姜パウダー) about 1 teaspoon ~ 5 Baht 

Total cost = 105 Baht

2. First, Wash and soaking Dried Snow Fungus and Dried Black wood ear mushroom in water for about 1 hour or until it turned softer. Cut it into little pieces.

3. Then put everything in a pot.

4. Pour drinking water in and boiling them using medium heat.

5. Keep scoop the white bubbles out.  

6. It takes time about 45 minutes to 1 hour. When everything turned soft and the soup's color is getting darker then it was done.

[Thai Sweet] Jackfruit Seed Sweet

Ataya ~ "Hi there !! Today I will show you how to make เม็ดขนุด Jackfruit Seed sweet. It's classic Thai sweet made from leftover Jack fruit seed. Let's see ..."

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below

  • Boiled Jackfruit seeds (茹でジャックフルーツの種) ~ 1 cup ~ 20 Baht  
  • Coconut Milk(ココナッツミルク) ~ 1 cup   10 Baht 
  • Sugar (砂糖) 1/2  cup  5 Baht
  • Salt(塩) 1/3 teaspoon 1 Baht  

Total cost = 36 Baht

 
2.  Peeling off the peel of boiled Jackfruit seeds.
   
 
3. Put Jackfruit seeds, Coconut milk, Sugar and salt into blender. Mixing everything together.

 

4. Pour liquid into frypan. stir them using low-medium heat until you got the mold able sweet clay.

 

5. Making it to little balls. Here we are. Jackfruit seed sweet !! Enjoy !!
