[Thai Food] Mango Sticky Rice

 Ataya ~ "Hi there !! Today I will show you how to make a sweet that everyone must eat in Thailand, ข้าวเหนียวมะม่วง Mango Sticky Rice. Very simple recipe. Let's see ... "

1. Gathering all ingredients. As describe below.

  • Thai Sweet Mango (マンゴー) 1-2 mangoes ~ 20 Baht
  • Cooked Thai Sticky Rice (タイの餅米) 1 cup ~ 5 Baht
  • Coconut Milk (ココナッツミルク) ~ 2 cup ~ 20 Baht
  • Seasoning(調味料)[Salt(),Palm Sugar(パームシュガー)] ~  5 Baht

Total cost = 50 Baht

2. First of all, warming up coconut milk. Using low heat.

3. Add palm sugar and salt. Stir it well.

 

4. Warming sticky rice and put it in a bowl.

 

5. Pour hot coconut milk into sticky rice and waiting until sticky rice absorbed all coconut milk.

 

6. Place sweet sticky rice on plate. Topping with sliced sweet Thai mango and pour some coconut milk over it. Spread some sesame or fried nuts if you prefer. That is !! Aroi !!

[Thai Food] Stir-fried Cabbage With Fish Sauce

 Ataya ~ "Hi There !! Today I will show a simple recipe of Thai food, กะหล่ำปลีผัดน้ำปลา Stir-fried Cabbage with fish sauce. Let's see.... "

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below.

  • Cabbage  (キャベツ) 1 small cabbage ~ 30 Baht
  • Garlic (ニンニク) 5-6 cloves ~ 2 Baht
  • Cooking oil (食用油 ) 1-2 table spoons ~ 2 Baht
  • Seasoning(調味料)[Pepper(胡椒),Fish Sauce(ナムプラー)] ~  3 Baht

Total cost = 37 Baht

2. First warming up cooking oil on fry pan using maximum heat. 


3. Then put cut cabbage and chopped garlic in the hot fry pan and stir fry them for a minute.


4. Put cabbage to the center of fry pan then spread fish sauce around the cabbage. The fish sauce must touch the hot pan and not directly the cabbage to make the aroma of burning fish sauce. 

5. Spread some pepper then stir-fry them well for about 2-4 minutes then it was done.

 

6. Here we are. The stir-fried cabbage with fish sauce !! Aroi Mak Mak !!

Baked Banana Cereals

 Ataya ~ "Hi there !! Today I will show you how to make an easy and healthy snack, Baked Banana Cereals. Let's see ..."

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below

  •  Banana  (バナナ)  ~3 bananas     10 Baht
  •  Cashew Nut (カシューナッツ) ~ 10 gram   5 Baht
  • White & Black Sesame (胡麻) ~ 2 gram  3 Baht
  • Honey(蜂蜜) 1  teaspoon  2 Baht

Total cost = 20 Baht

2. Slice banana to be like this. Not too thin not too thick

 

3. Place cashew nut and sesame. Spread honey over the top.

 

4. Put in banana in Air fryer. Baking at 200 Celsius for about 20-30 minutes.

   

5. After banana has dried then you got it. Baked Banana Cereals !!

[Thai Food] Turmeric Fried Chicken Wings

 Ataya ~ "Hi there !! Today I will show you how to make an easy and healthy recipe, ปีกไก่ทอดขมิ้น Turmeric Fried Chicken Wings. Let's see ... "

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below.

  • Chicken wings (手羽先) 8 wings ~ 46 Baht
  • Turmeric Powder(ターメリックパウダー) ~ 1 teaspoon ~ 5 Baht
  • Ginger Powder (ジンジャーパウダー) ~ 1 teaspoon ~ 3 Baht
  • Coriander Seed  (コリアンダーシード ) 1 teaspoon ~ 3 Baht
  • Garlic (ニンニク) 3-4 cloves ~ 1 Baht
  • Cooking oil (食用油 ) 1-2 table spoons ~ 2 Baht
  • Seasoning(調味料)[Salt(),Black Pepper(ブラックペッパー),Fish Sauce(ナムプラー) ,Soy Sauce(醤油)] ~  3 Baht

Total cost = 63 Baht

 

2. Smash all herbs and spices in mortar.


3. Next add garlic and smash !!

 

  

 4. Add fish sauce, soy sauce and cooking oil. Mixing everything together.

 

 
5. Add chicken wings into a bowl . Let's marinate it for about at least 30 minutes.
 
 

6. Finally bring chicken wings into hot air fryer. Using heat 220 Celsius frying for about 20 - 30 minutes.

 
7. Here we are !! The turmeric fried chicken wings !! Enjoy !!

[Japanese Sweet] Mango Paste Dorayaki

 Ataya ~ "Hi there !! I made a lot of mango paste and have to find the way to eat it. So I decided to make a Japanese classic sweet, Dorayaki filling with my mango paste. Let's see .."

1. Gathering all ingredients. As describe below.

  • Wheat Flour (小麦粉) 1 cup ~10 Baht
  • Egg(タマゴ) 2 eggs ~ 10 Baht 
  • Honey(蜂蜜)1 teaspoon ~ 2 Baht
  • Baking Soda(重曹) 1 teaspoon ~ 1 Baht
  • Mango Paste (マンゴーペースト) 1 cup ~ 10 Baht
  • Rice Bran Oil (米ぬか油) 2-3 table spoons ~ 3 Baht
  • Seasoning(調味料)[Salt(),Sugar(砂糖)] ~  5 Baht

Total cost = 41 Baht



 

2. First, mixing eggs with salt and sugar.

 

 3. Mix wheat flour with baking soda and add into the egg.

 

4. Then add about 1 teaspoon of honey.

 

5. After mixing everything together, then keep the liquid in refrigerator for about 30 minutes. 

 

 6. Warming up frypan using low heat then frying the pancake.

 


7. After bubbles came up then it's time to flip the pancake and wait for about 10 seconds then put it up from the pan.

 

 8. Stack them !!

  

9. Put mango paste on the light color side of the pancake

10. Put another pancake on the fist one to make a dorayaki shape. 

11. Finally you got the Mango Paste Dorayaki !! Itadakimasu !!

[Thai Food] India Style Thai Curry

 Ataya ~"Hi there !! Today I will show you an India inspired Thai curry. Because it using just only dried spices just like in India's curry but In Thailand we eat this type of curry with Ajad(Cucumber in vinegar salad) Let's see ... "

1. Gathering all ingredients.As describe below.

For Curry ->

  • Pork belly (豚バラ肉) about 200 gram ~ 40 Baht
  • All dried spices(乾燥スパイス) [turmeric powder,ginger powder,cinamon powder,caraway,cardamom,coriander seed,dried chilli]  ~ 20 Baht
  • Red Onion(赤タマネギ) Big size for 2 onions ~ 5 Baht
  • Thai long green eggplant (長緑ナス) 1 eggplant ~ 10 Baht
  • Coconut Milk (ココナツミルク) 250 ml ~ 20 Baht 
  • Rice Bran Oil(米ぬか油) 2 table spoons ~ 2 Baht
  • Seasoning(調味料)[Salt(),Fish Sauce(ナムプラー),palm sugar(パームシュガー)] ~  3 Baht

 
For Ajad -> 

  • Cucumber  (胡瓜) about 2 cucumber ~ 5 Baht
  • Red Onion(赤タマネギ) small size about 2 onions ~ 3 Baht
  • Fresh Chili (唐辛子)  about 3-4 chili ~ 2 Baht
  • Fresh Coriander(パクチー) about 2-3 leaves ~ 1 Baht
  • Vinegar (酢) about 2-3 table spoons ~ 2 Baht
  • Seasoning(調味料)[Salt(),palm sugar(パームシュガー)] ~  3 Baht

Total cost = 116 Baht

2. First making curry paste by smash every dried spices in mortar.

3. Frying all smashed spices with rice bran oil by low heat.

4. When you can smell all spices aroma then it is the time to add coconut milk and stir them well

 

5. Add belly pork and keep stir them.

6. Then add long green eggplant and red onions.


7. seasoning with palm sugar.

 

8. Add saltiness and Umami with fish sauce.


9. Put curry into your pot. Topping with leftover coconut milk. The curry was done !!

 
10. Next making Ajad by slicing cucumber, red onions and fresh chili into a bowl.

 

11. Mix palm sugar,salt and vinegar with hot water. When it was cool down then pour the liquid into the veggies. Keep it cool in regenerator for about 20-30 minutes before serve.

12. Now you got India Style Thai curry with Ajad !! Aroi Mak Mak !!
